Brutalistic Pop-Up: mashatretrings × detune studios
On September 19, we transformed B20 on Bracka 20 in Warsaw into a small brutalist universe—but only for one day. What unfolded was a rare convergence of conceptual jewellery, avant-garde fashion, and raw architectural energy, where mashatretrings and detune studios created a shared visual language rooted in brutalism's uncompromising aesthetic.
A Space Where Architecture, Fashion & Art Align
The pop-up wasn't just a retail event or a fashion showcase. It was a deliberate curation of creative disciplines speaking the same sculptural dialect. Conceptual jewellery met brutalist garments in a space that felt less like a shop and more like a gallery installation—concrete, intentional, and unapologetically bold.
The industrial bones of B20 became the perfect vessel. We didn't fight the architecture; we embraced it. Silver, blue, purple, and black dominated the colour palette, creating an atmospheric richness that grounded the entire experience. It's a combination that simply works—moody, sophisticated, and undeniably striking.
The Sensory Experience
A pop-up lives or dies by its details, and we were determined to create something immersive:
Sound Design: @alegzay and @paradiscotech curated a sonic landscape that matched our vision perfectly, keeping the energy exactly where we wanted it
Refreshment: @chaitea.drink created exclusive collaboration drinks for the day, adding a sensory dimension beyond the visual
Hair & Beauty: @tenproduct ensured every guest looked and felt their best throughout the event
Floral Installation: @zhyvitsa_ softened the concrete mood with a thoughtfully designed installation that balanced brutalism's hardness with organic beauty
A Day That Felt Like Community
Every guest left with a certificate from @forma.movement.studio, a small tangible reminder of being part of something larger. The day was meticulously documented by @niisshhii__, capturing moments that proved what we suspected: when people gather around something genuine, magic happens.
The photographs tell the real story. Not polished, not perfectly styled—just real people experiencing art, fashion, and community in a space designed for exactly that.
It Happened. It Mattered.
Months of preparation condensed into a single day. From the outside, it might seem fleeting. But the energy generated, the connections made, and the pieces that found their way home with guests—those ripple outward long after the event closes.
Enormous gratitude to everyone who attended and wore the pieces with intention. To the entire team who executed this vision flawlessly. To @b20warsaw and @vintage_kolektyw for providing a space worthy of the concept.
One day. One space. See you at the next one.
